. . . and I just turned 50 years old. While I don’t believe there are rules for fashion and beauty, I have found that as I age, I feel confident and comfortable in styles that flatter and enhance my changing looks.<\/p>\n
I grew up in southwestern Michigan in a small town near the shores of Lake Michigan.\u00a0 I attended Albion College where I met my husband of 20+ years, and now I live in the Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills with my husband and two teenage daughters.<\/p>\n
As a little girl, I was inspired by my stylish and well-traveled grandmother who grew up in Vienna, Austria and was always fashionable and elegant.\u00a0 My mother also shared her love of clothing with me.\u00a0 She was an extremely talented seamstress and sewed many treasured and memorable outfits throughout my childhood and teenage years.\u00a0 These special women inspired my love for all things beautiful.<\/p>\n
